Home Tour into the stunning house of Danish photographer Mikkel Adsbøl

This new-built home located North of Copenhagen is owned by photographer Mikkel Adsbøl. Inspired by an old barn and following a classic Danish building style, he created his dream residence – And what a place it is! Stunning!

The large, 240-square-meter home has high ceilings, exposed beams, wooden floors, and a fireplace at the heart of the airy living space. With its smoked oak cabinets and fronts, the kitchen by Københavns Møbelsnedkeri is quite a feature!

The style has a perfect mix of old and new, making for a contemporary interior with a hint of retro. Several brass elements add warmth and a touch of luxe. You’ll see Mikkel’s souvenirs from around the world like vases, rugs and sculptures, as well as handpicked designer furniture.

I am loving that blueish wall colour, which ties the look together beautifully. I find it surprisingly warm for such a shade, and it enhances the serene vibe, too.

The bathroom has lovely shade of pink, with wall lights by Gubi, antique French mirrors and faucets by Toni – A lovely combination.

xx
